Jeff West isn’t a square-foot builder. “I think if I was going to live there, what would I want?” he says of crafting a home. Jeff realizes that homes are made in the details. A builder and remodeler since 1997, Jeff recently went out on his own to build a new type of business, one that focuses on the finer points of making a home. “Before I had kids I didn’t think about the attention to detail,” he says. “Now, I think more about the bathroom, closet space, and laundry.” Though he’s a guy’s guy, through and through, Jeff knows what women want in a home: form and function.
